HPS’s product lines have been enhanced to accommodate HIPAA data content. HPS’s HIPAA Implementation Team is comprised of highly skilled, dedicated, and focused resources to facilitate the successful implementation of HIPAA Transaction and Code Set Standards.

HPS’s policies and procedures are consistent with HIPAA Privacy and Security Standards for the secure transmission, use and management of protected health information. HPS will incorporate the required safeguards to meet or exceed the HIPAA Privacy and Security standards. HPS takes data privacy seriously. We protect the privacy and security of patients and we enthusiastically support the HIPAA privacy standards.

HPS has implemented the HIPAA Privacy regulations through a coordinated corporate effort to identify all uses of protected information, reinforce and develop policies to protect that information.

As part of its privacy compliance, HPS will supply its customers with the required Business Associate Agreement for customer signature. This agreement represents that HPS will maintain the privacy of protected healthcare information received in the course of normal business activities.

In addition, HPS uses advanced security technologies to protect the information it processes from intrusion. As part of its privacy compliance effort, HPS implements security practices in advance of the final HIPAA Security regulations.
